This past July 2017 Accent Garage Doors was proud to participate in the Days of ’47 Rodeo and Parade for the third straight year.
As you may know the rodeo is one of the top five rodeos in the United States. The Days of ’47 parade continues to be one of America’s largest parades, celebrating Utah’s Pioneer Day. At Accent Garage Doors, we recognize and appreciate the pioneering spirit of Utahans. Like you, we are happy to call the Wasatch Front home. Accent Garage Doors loves to give back to our community and share quality events with our community.
The 2017 Rodeo
The rodeo began on July 19 and lasted for five fun days ending on July 24, 2017. This year the rodeo moved to its new permanent home at the Utah State Fair Park. It was an honor to meet with so many of our existing customers as well as new customers about garage door needs.
We were pleased to provide tickets for lucky customers and our employees. We also had a booth located out in front of the stadium each of the evenings. The rodeo consisted of five fun filled days. On the closing Monday night July 24th, the rodeo sold out with over 10,000 people in attendance.
The Pioneer Day Parade
On Monday July 24, 2017 Accent Garage Doors was proud to participate in the Days of ’47 parade. The Days of ’47 parade traces its roots back to the earliest settlers in Utah acting as a celebration for the arrival of the Mormon pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley. The parade began at South Temple in Salt Lake City ending at Liberty Park.
This year we enjoyed sponsoring the West Jordan marching band. We are very proud of all of the work of the marching band to do such a great job in the parade. Congratulations to the students as well as to the administrators for performing so well! It was truly a success.
