Labor Day

We are honored to wish you a happy Labor Day! It’s a great day to celebrate the spirit of the American worker.

Honoring Workers for More Than a Century

This weekend we honor the labor of all of those who have made an impact to the strength, hope, prosperity, and well-being of our great country. Labor Day originated with the focus of the worker’s movement in Oregon (beginning in 1887) and has since expanded to the rest of the country becoming a national holiday in 1894. Since that time it has been observed the first Monday of each September.

This day is considered to be a change in the seasons and the unofficial end of summer. As you may be travelling this weekend, we remind you to be careful when you are driving. AAA estimates that 35.5 million people will travel 50 more miles this weekend.

At Accent Garage Doors, we are honored to give the great people who work for us the day off to spend time with friends and family. We continue to appreciate their work and vital contribution to our success. We appreciate our customer’s willingness to continue to choose us for their garage door needs.

A Season for Maintenance

This summer has been a great one for us and very busy. We have experienced record heat along the Wasatch Front. A nice reprieve from the heat is a welcome change. It is a season to reflect on the past accomplishments of summer while we can also harness the hope for the future.

We remind our customers as the seasons and temperatures change it can be a great time to get needed maintenance on their garage doors. Living in an area with four distinct seasons can put extra pressure on your everyday household appliances. A tune-up can be a timely way to monitor the efficacy for your garage door’s performance.

Enjoying 23 years of experience this September, Accent Garage Doors specializes in garage door repair, installation, and ongoing service. We stand ready to help you with all of your garage door needs. We service the entire Wasatch front. Call us now to get your garage door repaired or a new one installed.
